Yesterday Denver Post Photographer Craig F. Walker won a Pulitzer Prize for his photo essay of Iraq War Veteran Scott Ostrom who has been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after multiple tours in Iraq as a Recon Marine. The struggles of this Marine after he returned to Denver and began the process of returning to civilian life are heartbreaking.
After looking at the essay it is easy to see why a Pulitzer Prize was awarded to Mr. Walker because his photos are truly worth a thousand words. To View the essay you can click here.
